North Memorials was established in 1993 to provide top quality headstones and memorials to the public. Since that time the company has provided reliable and cost effective service to New Zealanders and Pacific Islanders.

Ray Jones has more than 20 years’ experience in the industry and has installed stones in most cemeteries and urupa from Auckland to the Far North. 

Logan Buchanan has also spent more than 20 years in the industry and comes from a long line of stonemasons. Here he is pictured standing beside a monument erected by his great grandfather in Waikumete cemetery in Auckland. It is believed to be the oldest such monument in the cemetery.  

The North Memorials team service their clientele from an expanding network of shops in the North Island. At present we operate shops at Papatoetoe, Panmure, Onehunga, Henderson, Birkenhead and Kaikohe in the Far North. New branches will open soon in Hamilton and Whangarei. 

Our shops are bright and welcoming and our experienced staff are fully conversant with cemetery regulations. They are willing and able to guide clients through the sometimes challenging task of selecting a suitable memorial for loved ones.

We use only the finest quality granite imported from India and China and offer stones in a wide range of colours and designs. Our goal is to match our clients with the best possible memorial to meet their needs and their budgets.
